Casting for Children’s Roles

We are seeking boys and girls who love to sing and act for this season’s Christmas Carol.

Be Bold! Production, a NYC based theatre company in its 8th season and in residence at the Historic Players Theatre in the West Village will hold auditions for boys or girls who can play boys for an original musical “A Christmas Carol” at the theatre located at 115 MacDougal Street (between West 3rd and Bleecker).   Show opens on November 27th and runs through December 30th 8 performances a week but children alternate in the roles and have a shorter schedule.  Rehearsals begin November 6st at the Players Theatre on weekends and Wednesday evenings.  Non-union.

Note: No rehearsals Nov 21- 25 (Thanksgiving)

Casting for Tiny Tim and Young Scrooge

Tiny Tim:  Must look 5 – 7 years old. Tim Cratchit (Tiny Tim) is a sickly little boy who walks with a crutch; his father, Bob Cratchit, works for the wealthy miser Ebenezer Scrooge.  He has an angelic presence and says the iconic and final line of the show: “God bless us, everyone!”

Young Scrooge:10 -16 is the younger self of Ebenezer Scrooge.  A sad and lonely boy yet full of hope.  Also plays the Turkey Boy.
